We loved the fact that we chose culloden house. Our room was with a shower, a plus for us.

This is my second stay at the hotel and again the it was fantastic. The room was very comfortable and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The food is amasing!

Culloden House is a good hotel but with a few changes it could be an exceptional hotel. The building, it's history and it's location are great, the staff are welcoming and helpful, the food was (mostly) excellent.
This isn't a case of dislikes more a case of what we would have hoped for. Although available on request there are no coffee making facilities in the rooms. It was lovely to sit by the fire in the Adam's Room before dinner but it would have been nice to have been offered this room after dinner for taking coffee. Dinner was good, the pre-starter of pepper soup was rich and dark-fruity, unfortunately the lamb was overcooked but the excellent white chocolate torte and passionfruit ice made up for it. I would like to have been offered a selection of beers from any of the local breweries and possibly canapes before dinner. I don't any of these as complaints we had an enjoyable stay but it's the details that make the difference at this level.

Wonderful service and a free upgrade. Enormous room and a bath/jacuzzi the size of a small car.

Beautiful luxury with classic flavor, Friendly staff, Historically significant with wide international appeal and serene feeling.

the staff were very welcoming and interesting to talk to. They were very interesting and went out of their way to help.

The food was excellent and the house is very nice and has a definite wow factor when you first drive up the drive. The Garden suite room was very nice and everything was very clean and well kept
Garden room suite did not have room service available and no spa services on site as implicated.

Very friendly staff, very attentive. Breakfast was brilliant and food was beautiful. Very relaxing place to spend a weekend and room was lovely.
-
It has a very impressive and grand looking building. On my entrance the staff were very attentive, very welcoming and very friendly. We were allocated a double room with a four poster bed which was perfect for our romantic valentine break. The staff member who showed us to the room ensured that everything was exactly to our requirements. He informed us of the hotel facilities and arrangements for dinner. The food was to an exceptionaly high standard and I liked the chefs requirements in that the food was always sourced from local suppliers. They have an outstanding selection of malt whisky covering all tastes and expense. I can understand why the hotel has won an award for its breakfast selection. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates excellent facilities and service.

Good location for Inverness. Room was great. Altogether very relaxing. Lovely public rooms to sit and relax - more next time when there is no business aspect to my visit.Enjoyed the historic connections.
Whilst recognising the size of the rooms and age of the building felt that it was a bit cold in the room (mid October having said that). Extremely bad mobile telephone reception which made it very difficult / impossible to arrange to meet colleagues and friends over the weekend

Building, grounds. Porter. Dog friendly
Tired decor, peeling border, creaky floorboards . Bed sagging and uneven. Far too hot. No tour of facilities. Stuffy & uptight. Terrible service at breakfast - porridge far too salty, no alternative offered. Staff whispering whilst watching us eat (only customers in room). Dinner menu overpriced and pretentious.
-
The food was memorable, the staff particularly helpful and friendly, and the room luxurious.
-
Quiet and out of time, beautiful architecture and interiour design, discrete and kind service. Everything of a very good quality.
No decent facility for smokers
-
Friendly staff, luxury of the room and size, large grounds to walk in, excellent food.
Just a personal one of possibly a tv in the bedroom in the suite.!
